I’ve been coming here for 8 years now with my 3 kids. We visit both locations La Jolla and Scripps Ranch. Dr. Scoma, Dr. Lam and all the office staff Have always been professional, wonderful, friendly, gentle and listen to our concerns. Especially Kaylee! Not sure what happened with negative review below but we have NEVER experienced that throughout all my 3 kids procedures, cleanings, ortho - we received nothing but the best care. Probably a negative Nancy leaving those. I refer them to my friends.

Excellent staff! Dr. Scoma was highly professional and his assistant Roxy made my son feel very comfortable by providing him with a blanket and having his favorite cartoon on while getting anesthesia. A true Master Class experience in witnessing how a professional medical staff should be. Thank you!

My little girl gets really nervous when it is time for her dentist appointments, but Dr. Tony, Kaylee, and each of the hygienist my daughter has seen are really great with children! During both visits my daughter was given a stuffed animal to comfort her, she was allowed to look at the cleaning tools before they were used on her, and she was allowed to pick the toothpaste flavor for her cleaning. When the appointment ended she given a token for a prize machine and a balloon. I really appreciate the care that this office has for their little patients.

we had some billing issues, but after speaking to Kaylee, we were able to figure out that there was an issue with the insurance receiving the paperwork Seaside submitted. Frustrating initially but glad that Kaylee was there to help me work through the issue and her help to reach out to insurance company to resolve it.

Very happy with this Pediatric Dentist. My two girls went here for a few years before our recent move. Everyone is so kind and friendly, and Dr. Scoma is the best! Worked closely with me to put together a plan of care for my daughter who needed dental surgery. Highly recommend this pediatric dentist!

We have been going to Dr Scoma for many years. We all love him. He is very professional and great at dealing with kids. Even when needles were involved they were not afraid and felt nothing!! I’m sad they are now teenagers and will have to transition to an adult dentist.

Everyone was very patient yesterday with my daughter in Orthodontics. The cake pops for father’s day was a nice touch! The novel rewards program is a great way to get parents and childrens to be more involved. Keep it up!

I go to Seaside Pediatric Dentistry with my 2 siblings and we all like it. Not only is the waiting room fun with the video games and photo booth, but we get to watch tv and movies while they work on our teeth. Everyone is super nice and gentle there and my teeth were crooked when I started but now they are straight!! I would highly recommend my friends coming here. My mom likes that the parking is super easy in the big lot too.

My family was charged numerous times for services that were not approved by us or covered by our insurance. They explained it as that they can do what they want and we will be charged. I don't agree to that. So my family will go somewhere else.

My daughter April, has been seeing Doctor Scoma and his staff since she was around 10 years old. We first met him when April was in the 4th grade. She had fallen at school and her permanent front teeth were almost knocked out. We were introduced to him and he saved Aprils teeth. Since then, April has been a patient of Doctor Scoma and we feel blessed to have him.

My 3 boys have been going to Dr. Scoma since they were 2. His staff is excellent and Dr.Scoma provides excellent care. Even with our family moving I have continued taking my kids to him. I have heard of many places in SD that have in my opinion questionable practices (not allowing parents with children during cleaning and procedures and pushing for procedures that are not necessary). Dr. Scoma is top notch and does not give anything but safe and quality work.

I did research on the Internet prior to choosing Seaside Pediatric For my grandson an they are awesome!!! They tell Grifith what they are doing before they do it an make sure he is comfortable!!

As a parent I did my research, I wanted the best for my boys. I was thrilled when we found Dr. Scoma. He was the third dentist we visited; he's competent and caring. We are so fortunate. We had no wait time. The technician was a gem. Dr. Scoma was so gentle, kind and caring, as he always is. The 2 of them worked like clockwork, always treating my son like a little boy, encouraging him, and me too. After care very well explained. The front office ladies are always professional lovely.
